Introducing the Women Awards for the British Muslim community
October 28th, 2022, London – Saverah Events are proud to announce the upcoming Saverah Women in Business (SWB) Awards. The award ceremony will be held in February 2023, in London, and more than 500 representatives of British business and professional circles will attend.
Overall, the SWB Awards will recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions made by the rapidly expanding community of Muslim female entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom by showcasing their work, challenges, and success stories. One of the core missions of the SWB Awards is to allow the generation of Muslim female founders to be more vocal about their work, to connect with each other, and inspire the younger entrepreneurs to come forward.
In addition, this innovative project emerged in response to the need to bring attention to Muslim women entrepreneurs to a broader audience. Furthermore, the awards serve as a recognition of their efforts and successes, which are not celebrated as they should be. Through Saverah Women in Business Awards, Muslim female entrepreneurs will gain a forum where they can be celebrated and exchange ideas and build solid relationships.
Currently, there are 19 categories available for nominations, and there is a category for each female entrepreneur who blazed the road. In addition, self-nominations are encouraged and accepted. Furthermore, the judging panel consists of significant industry and community leaders. In this pursuit, the judging panel will choose the finalists and winners. Finalists will be asked to attend the awards event, where the winners will be revealed.
Expressing their enthusiasm for the upcoming awards, the organisers declared:
“We aim to empower the brilliant Muslim women who were courageous enough to start their own businesses, serving as outstanding examples for us and many other women. Without a doubt, visibility represents one of the most important acknowledgements of success. With Saverah Women in Business Awards, we aim to offer that well-deserved visibility for pioneering Muslim women who demonstrated that they can be exceptional players in their respective fields.”
