Awards Entry Terms & Conditions
- Saverah Women in Business Awards welcome all Muslim female founders, partners, or shareholders of a business, brand, and organisation, of any size, based in the UK.
- Ideally entrants should have a track record of trading for a minimum of 12 months.
- Entrants may enter a maximum of three categories.
- By entering the SWB Awards, you agree to be available to attend the Interviews and the Awards Ceremony.
- Nominations can be submitted from the company itself or another party, so long as the application is completed fully and accurately.
- Entries are free and must be received by Midnight on Wednesday 7th December 2022
- We reserve the right to extend the deadline.
- The person’s whose name is on the entry form as “Contact Name” will be the permanent contact throughout the course of the awards program, and will receive all correspondence, including receipt-of-entry and winning-entry acknowledgements.
- Information provided should be relevant to the company’s activities in the previous 36 months from point of nomination.
- All entries must be submitted online. No hardcopy Entries will be accepted.
- Incomplete entries will not be judged.
- By entering these awards, you agree to our award partners and sponsors having access to your contact details.
- By submitting an application, you give permission to the judges to contact you, if required.
- All entries are treated with the upmost confidentiality.
- No liability for entries lost or delayed will be accepted. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your online application by email, immediately or within a few hours. If you do not receive this confirmation, please email us on awards@saverah.com.
- Organisations cannot enter for an award if they are a sponsor for the specific category.
- The organisers reserve the right to amend or remove award categories.
- The organisers reserve the right to put a business into another category, if eligible.
- The Organisers or the judges may disqualify any entry that does not adhere to the rules.
- The organisers reserve the right to change the judging deadlines should circumstances necessitate.
- By entering the competition, applicants agree that their data will be held on the Saverah Women in Business database and website.
Rules of Awards
- In December 2022 the official SWB Awards judging panel will consider nominations and shortlist the finalists for each award.
- The judging panel is made up of independent business experts and sponsors.
- Each entry will be seen by at least three judges.
- Guideline and a scoring matrix will be provided to the judges to ensure the process is fair.
- Shortlisted finalist will be announced in Monday 5th December 2022 via the website and emails.
- Once an entrant has been announced as a finalist, it cannot withdraw from the process.
- Promotional material will be provided to all finalists to publicize.
- All finalists must agree to take part in publicity.
- The judges will interview all the finalists 23rd – 26th January 2023. They will decide the winners based on the written submissions, interview, and questions.
- The decisions of the judges will be final. All entrants must agree to be bound by them.
- A minimum of 1 representative from each finalist will be required to attend the Grand Final evening at their own cost.
- Winners will be announced only on the evening of the ceremony.
- Winners will be published on the website after the ceremony and will be publicized on social media.
- Winners agree to participate in post event publicity if requested to do so.
- Should for any reason the event be postponed, your entry will still be valid and will be carried through to the appropriate date.
